Student interns working with the arboretum during Spring 2025 envisioned tours that speak to them. Their wish was to communicate a perspective on the role of campus trees that adds dimension to our conventional understanding. The result of their research and creativity are now available on the arboretum website as self-guided tours. Their hope is that as these tours are widely consumed, the campus experience will be enriched as the benefits offered to us from these gentle giants come into clear view. From mindfulness moments, to lessons on ethnobotany, sexuality and ecosystem services, you'll find that trees have our backs!
