Noteworthy Characteristics:

 

This is a deciduous tree, with deeply serrated pinnately-compound leaves. The fruit is a beautiful lantern-like shape with papery walls, containing chambers with a 5-8 large round seeds. These fruits turn from green to brown when mature. The seeds are edible when roasted. In some countries, the trees is considered invasive because of the many seeds it produces.
