More commonly known as the white ironbark, this tree (like many eucalypts) comes from Australia. A member of the Myrtaceae family, this tree has lanceolate leaves, flossy pink flowers, and grows up 50 ft. tall. This particular species produces essential oils that can be used for aromatherapy. Our Campus has two specimens of this tree.
