The Campus Arboretum is a collection of living trees planted throughout the entire ~400 acre main University of Arizona campus in Tucson, AZ. The collection evolved as trees from arid climates around the world were planted on campus as an experiment. The arboretum continues the legacies of using the campus grounds to support university research, education and outreach missions and the perpetuates the practice of finding and promoting arid adapted trees suited for future climate.
