On January 31, 2005 Keith Taylor Sr and Gladys Eite Taylor would have been married 75 years. So on that date, the two College of Agriculture alumni were honored at a naming ceremony in Taylor Botanical Plaza, at the entrance to newly refurbished Herring Hall.
Through a generous donation to the Campus Arboretum, their four children and their families have established the Taylor Family Campus Arboretum Operational Support Endowment Fund. This endowment will support general operations, tree replacement, student projects, and tree salvage and "windy day" efforts.
Eighteen Taylor family members attended the dedication ceremony, which featured President Dr. Peter Likins and Eugene Sander, Vice Provost and Dean of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Keith Taylor Jr remembered his parents and Mimi Taylor Mack read a poem honoring them on their 75th anniversary. Thanks to all the members of the Taylor family for their foresight and faith in the Campus Arboretum.
