Climate Change Modeling

K-12 school students with help from researchers at the University of Arizona have published a paper in the American Journal of Botany that may help better climate models. Their work reveals that the shrinking of dried leaves, if unaccounted for, may make climate models less reliable. A summary of the article with mention of the UA Campus Arboretum can be found at: http://www.nature.com/scitable/blog/labcoat-life/high_school_citizen_scientists_work
