About this Tour:

What makes the Old Main building so important? It’s the first building on the University of Arizona campus and has been a place of education and learning for over 130 years. But it’s also the site of beautiful and water-wise landscaping, combining the best of desert and adapted trees and plants with water conservation practices suitable for our hot and dry climate. Join us to see how it’s done.

What to Expect:

Tours of the Campus Arboretum feature a variety of educational themes. Join us on campus to experience the rich lessons these trees teach through the expert lens of the Pima Co. Master Gardeners. Tours last 60-90 minutes. Space is limited, registration is required and the cost is free!

Getting Here:

Guides will meet tour participants for all scheduled tours at the Berger Memorial Fountain, west of Old Main. This location is conveniently located just inside Main Gate Square with nearby parking available at the Tyndall Ave. Garage.  Use the campus map to help guide you.
