Dimmitt Desert Plant Conservatory Guided Tours

Tour the Mark Dimmitt Desert Plant Conservatory and learn about the collection of wild and weird plants inspired by renowned botanist Mark Dimmitt, whose support and role in the evolution of this collection has helped enrich its educational value. This hidden garden creates an inspiring environment for all to appreciate and learn about some of the most unusual, vibrant, and fascinating plants found in arid climates.

As part of the Campus Arboretum’s 20th Anniversary Celebrations, the conservatory will be open to the public for tours. The tours will be hosted by the undergraduate students who created the collection and the associated plant care resources found online.
