Volunteer Opportunities

The University of Arizona Campus Arboretum is entirely self-funded and operates with minimal staff support. If you share our passion for sustainable land stewardship, historic preservation and public education, we welcome your help!  If you have the aptitude and interest in any of the following needs, contact us at infoarboretum@ag.arizona.edu to express interst and arrange for your training.

TOURS AND OTHER OUTREACH

Coordinate tour scheduling.

Become a tour guide.

Mentor student docents.

Develop or coordinate educational activities for science fairs.

Guest reception (Herring Hall office)

Design, create and print educational and promotional materials.

Copy editing educational and promotional materials.

Assist with production of the newsletter.

Manage mailing lists and correspondence.

Update the website (Drupal based platform requires minimal web skills - training provided.)
